3 carefully chisel and break out lower portion of. 1 mark lower 12 16 on door jamb with straight line using combination square and pencil. Measure and cut the replacement jamb to length. Remove the rotted jamb by tapping it away from the head jamb and cutting the nails.

Insert the lockset tailpieces through the latch bolt and screw the handles together by tightening the retaining screws. Measure from the threshold to the bottom of the door stop. 2 cut through marked line with oscillating multi tool.
