I had to re felt my shed roof so i though i d share with you the process i went through and the materials i used.

Other roofing felt leaks. For most sheds you ll need to cut 3 pieces of felt. Spread the felt flat onto the roof and nail along the top edge of the felt. If your shed has a pent roof flat with no ridge you can apply the felt in exactly the same way as you would for one side of a pitched roof.

Once measured and cut line the first piece of felt up so that it over hangs the edge of the roof on three sides by enough to cover the side pieces of the roof. If you keep having to patch your roofing felt on the shed then you might need to start thinking about covering up your felt altogether. You ll need enough felt to cover the entire area of the roof with a little extra on each edge around 5cm to allow for overlaps at the eaves and at the gable ends approximately 7 5cm.
