Turn your new pool pump on and check that water is moving through the pump s suction lines. Place a diverter or shut off valve on the side of the pump that suctions. Attach the pump to the motor with nuts and bolts. Before installing a pool pump you ll need to remove the old one.

Before filling the pool with water first insert the water outlet and inlet then hook. Shut off the water valves to the inlet and outlet pipes if needed. The intex filter pump is very easy to install. Disconnect the power to the pool ideally at the circuit breaker.
